Dream “For Love of Show” guest: To choose between Kelly Clarkson and Mandy Moore would be like choosing between… I don’t know. I don’t know what another choice that would stress me out that much.
Social media: @KimMoffat on Twitter and Instagram. Also, some stuff of mine is up at www.0323productions.com
If you could only have 1 candle to light the rest of your life, what scent would you choose?
There’s a specific campfire candle that I have on my desk to use when I’m writing. I use it sparingly because I don’t know where to get another one, but that specific candle is the scent I’d want. Not all campfire candles smell good.
Take a trip tomorrow: where would you go?
Kayak with orcas.
Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment OR Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf?
Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment. The Police Academy movies are hilarious and, although that title is pretty good, I have to assume Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf is scary movies – you know I’m not brave!
Favorite thing about being a podcast star on the rise?
Free coffee everywhere I go. (This hasn’t happened yet, but I’m hoping this motivates coffee shops to start giving me free coffee)
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Famous enough to be on Double Dare and answer a questionnaire in Disney Magazine. I failed at this. It haunts me to this day. Thanks a lot for reminding me!
If you had a drink named after yourself, what would you call it?
Kin… it’s gin-based, obviously.
Favorite sports team?
San Diego Padres.
What are your thoughts on bridges? I've always wanted to know.
They serve a purpose when well-built, and are very pretty when they’re old. I enjoy them, but wouldn’t want to build them and now that I’m thinking about it, I’m not entirely sure that I understand how they’re made? Maybe I never want to be on one again?
Tell me a story about a napkin.
This has nothing to do with a napkin, but it’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the word – I used to go to my Grandparent’s house on Christmas Eve, and my Grandma would make it special with a traditional dinner of ham and potato soup, during which Santa’s Elves would come and bring gifts. They were very sneaky because, even though I tried every year, I never saw them! One year, at the end of dinner, I went to take my plate to the sink, and there was a clue under it – the Elves had set up a scavenger hunt for me to find my first gift. Again, it has nothing to go with a napkin, but as soon as I saw that word I just immediately was transported back there to that moment of lifting my plate and seeing that clue.
What is something you'd like our listeners to know about you?
I want to be absolutely, 100%, clear on this. Please don’t be mistaken at all… I firmly believe that both Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde and Speed 2: Cruise Control are great sequels and should be seen immediately and quoted often.
